AmCham China and The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China invite you to a high level discussion on trade policy and its impact on business.

China, the European Union and the United States are the major actors of international trade representing altogether over forty percent of all international trade volume. China’s trade, especially with the European Union and the United States, has played a key role in China’s remarkable growth over the past decades, especially since its WTO accession in December 2001. Despite some widely covered cases forecasting challenges, trade relations between the three countries have been growing at an impressive annual pace of over 25% for the last years.
With the 12th Five-Year-Plan emphasizing on "higher quality growth" and the new Foreign Investment Catalogue pushing "priority industries" for investment, China’s leadership has set a clear road ahead focusing on a greener economy, industrial upgrading and boosting domestic consumption. But, how are all of these factors are going to influence trade?
