US-China Public Sector Energy Performance Contracting Training Seminar
is co-hosted by China National Development and Reform Commission and the U.S. Department of Energy with support from the China Quality Certification Centre, the U.S.-China Energy Cooperation Program, and the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. This EPC training seminar is in ECP Conference Center of Beijing (中国美国商会大会议室，北京市朝阳区远洋光华国际AB座6层) from 08:30 am-16:45 pm on November 15th (Wednesday).
The objective of this EPC training seminar is to discuss policy options and share best practices so that public sector EPC related policies and grogram in China could be better designed and thus scaling up EPC projects in Chinese public sector. Through exchange of information on programs and practices, government officials could gain a deeper understanding options and current barriers in targeted areas of current policy discussion. This in turn could help inform the development and adoption of supportive policies to facilitate public sector EPCs.
We would like to invite you to attend this workshop with government officials from National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), National Government Offices Administration (GOA), Ministry of Finance (MOF), Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD), Ministry of Education (MOE), and National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC), and also officials from provincial and local equivalents of these agencies. The government officials are encouraged to share their perspectives in public sector EPC related policies and grogram designs. Representatives from research institutes and ESCOs, especially those with experience in public sector EPCs, are encouraged to participate. U.S. companies will also participate, especially in Panel 3 and Panel 4 by sharing experience in financing and EPC project implementation. This seminar would also provide a networking opportunity for U.S. and China to seek future initiatives in Chinese public sector EPCs. Each ECP member could have ONE free seat to attend.
