Breakfast with Gold Medalist Skater Apolo Ohno
AmCham China is pleased to invite you to a breakfast featuring Olympic gold medalist skater Apolo Ohno. Ohno will present on his philanthropic work, focusing on the Special Olympics, and discuss living a healthy lifestyle. He will talk about some of the lifetime experiences that inspired him to become an Olympic athlete, drawn from his book, "Zero Regrets." He'll provide real-life examples of how he's applied his "Zero Regrets" philosophy to all aspects of his life. And he'll discuss the importance of having a vision and goals and offer his thoughts on the interconnectedness of life.
Apolo Ohno made history at the 2010 Winter Olympics as the most decorated US Winter Olympic athlete, awarded two medals in 2002, three in 2006, and three more in 2010. He is a 12-time US National Champion, and has been the top short-track skater in the US since 2001. Besides his time on the ice, Apolo Ohno competed and won season four of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars." He serves as an ambassador for health and wellness initiatives aimed at children.
