AmCham China is pleased to invite you to a lunch panel discussion on rising costs in China. Based on responses from the AmCham China's 2012 Business Climate Survey, member companies are experiencing significant increases in labor costs in the form of both wage inflation and the new social benefits tax.

Among the issues to be discussed: What is the impact of spiraling costs on business? Which industries are most affected? To what degree is China losing its competitive advantage? Join us to learn more about what rising costs are likely to mean for the next stage of China's economic development.
This event is the first part in a series of events that will take an in-depth look at some of the most relevent and important issues faced by our members and identified in the survey. Upcoming events include:

April 17: Cyber Security and Internet Risks
April 19: License to Expand: Business Licensing in China
April 24: Higher Education and Innovation

*AmCham China members receive a special discount price to attend all four events. Contact Julia Howe ( for more information.
