China's retail market is projected to expand at a compound annual growth rate of 9% from 2017 to 2021. While offline still holds a major share of retail sales, retail e-commerce continues to be the growth story with a 21% CAGR and forecast to increase overall share of retail sales from 15% in 2017 to 23% by 2021.
