Policy+ members are cordially invited to join a breakfast meeting with a delegation from the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission (USCC) at the Executive Lounge, Westin Chaoyang on May 24 from 8:15 am to 9:15 am.
The USCC was created by the United States Congress with the legislative mandate to submit to Congress an annual report on the national security implications of the bilateral trade and economic relationship with China. This year, their meetings in China will focus on high-tech development, with a focus on space, biotech, and smart cities; the Chinese government's management of China's economic slowdown; the U.S.-China economic relationship; and China's views of Northeast Asia's evolving regional dynamics, with a focus on Beijing's relations with Russia and North Korea.
This breakfast is for Policy+ members only. Please note that there are in total of four spots available and therefore registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please RSVP by noon May 16 (Thursday). If you have any questions, please email Chloe Ma at firstname.lastname@example.org.
