Public Security Bureau Presentation on New Chinese Visa Regulations
Officer Xu Ruoxin of the Public Security Bureau returns to AmCham China for a second presentation on China's new visa regulations.
On September 1, 2013, the new Foreigner Exit-Entry Administration Regulations of the PRC came into effect, having been published initially in early May.
It is hoped, of course, that the revisions will improve exit/entry procedures, although that does not mean the rules are any easier to grasp than before – indeed, there are now more visa categories.
To help our members understand these changes, AmCham China has arranged a second presentation by the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau – the relevant government department – at which their experts will inform members about the new policy and how it applies to their company and employees. This is a chance for those unable to attend the previous event to have their questions answered.
Main points to be covered: ·Application criteria for visa/work permit ·The different types of visa categories ·Considerations to be made when applying
Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions to the PSB. Please submit questions in writing in advance by November 12 to email@example.com. The event will be conducted in Chinese, with interpretation available.
